I just logged on to ebay to buy a toaster and kettle for my new house. I went to pay pal to pay for my items. Then i logged back on ebay to find my account has been suspended. I've emailed ebay with no response and when i went on to live chat to speak to someone i was told they weren't able to answer my questions. i then logged on to ebay forums only to find other people ebay has been doing this too. Anyone got any sugestions?

Who the heck shops for toasters on eBay???
Anthropologists in the future will be going nuts trying to figure out why, at about the turn of the 20th century, people just started mass mailing all their old useless crap to seemingly random people.

I prefer not to use eBay,
've seen enough rants here on Aorg.
I use a 'local' trade site, (here in NL it's Marktplaats),
because I can go to those ppl, check if things're functioning etc.

By using marktplaats you're still sponsoring EBay, they own it.

Yeah I know.
It's not that I dislike ebay, I never used it actually.
I just don't want to take that kind of risk :-)
