I test memory and have strange results...Test memory whit four progy  from Aminet (PPC-memtest,MemUtili,pmemtest) and all is OK..but when I try whit memtest I have error? dont know whay..maybe is not good sw for my bppc?

Any here have smilar problem?

Using A1200 bppc 603 040/33 (clocked) + 233 (cloced) two simm 64 + 128 MB and 60ns option!!

Appears to work fine here aswell:
Code: [Select]

MemTest v1.0 - © 2001 desdiSoft

Free memory: 972171620 bytes

CHIP: 2088960. Biggest block: 2088960
  Obtained: 0x21d07fd0, 2088960 bytes
  Test OK

FAST: 972162988. Biggest block: 968726784
  Obtained: 0x21d07fd0, 968726784 bytes
  Test OK

The chipmem test getting fastmem is due to fake compatibility chipmem on MorphOS/Pegasos.

yeah whit this...

For both memory (chip and fast)I have the same results "Defectiv Memory" dont know why?

But system works good? Its reson maybe cloced Bppc? or ant other reason? maybe psu 200w its not engouh for correct working memory?

If you can easily remove the OC (like oscillators on socket), try that. Also set memory speed to 70ns.

If it doesn't fail anymore, then you know what the problem is.

what! 200Watt for your system?

Seems a little underpowered IMHO!

Edit- in the meanwhile, seems a little strange you have no problems at all!

I leave Piru to comment on this (never owned an a1200)

Now try 70ns the same problem error whit chip and fast memory!!

Yeah only 200watt AT PSU :( and other strange problem is..when I first time run Amiga in 85% case system crash or lockup ...now i need re power Amiga and after that is all ok..works day or two without any crash..Toaks tell me is PSU is problem!

:) yeah Toask said :)

maybe have a lot of HW but very small power.. I mean 200 watt its not engouh for my config!! and maybe that is reason for error message when testing memory! its that possible????

No, 200W is ample, and the computer only draws as much power as it needs.  Problems only occur when the computer needs more power than the PSU can deliver.  Not vice-versa.

Ok..

But I dont know why only memtest have error whit memory?(chip and fast)

Al other program after testing have info memory OK!!

And i try to copy 196 MB archiv in RamDisk...and that is directly in memory..and try open all archiv...work OK without problem...I mean memory is OK...
