Hi!
I own a 040@33 PPC@266 BlizzardPPC+scsi TurboBoard for A1200.
Last week I have got a 060@50 processor, fully working.I want to change the 040 in board for the 060, since I know that the board are almost the same (I think the Vcc lines and so are need to be replaced)
I wanna know if there is anyone outthere that have performed this operation or knows how
Thank you in advance!

I know of this problem with older Blizzard 1240 and 1260 cards where 1240 users want to upgrade their card by wanting to put a 2nd hand 68060 on it but there seem to be big difference in voltages between the two processors, so are you that sure that your PPC board is ready for both 68040 and 68060 ??

Well, the board is the very same, but yes, the CPU runs at different voltage,s o the tension regulator had to be changed, but I dunno if any other parts have to be changed, ie the BIOS for the PPC 060 one.
