I am working with a old timer Amiga developer trying to get their application ported back to Amiga. But their question is how many Amiga OS 3.5/3.9 upgrades were sold? Can anyone help, I would like to get them on board so my programmers can port a newer version of this app back to Amiga.
Best regards

Sorry you say that you are already working with them so why do you need to give them a market size idea?
Confused?!?
PS: Change your topic to AOS3.5/3.9 Sales Figures Needed

How about ask Skippy for the results of the "what version of AmigaOS are you running" poll?

How about it Skippy?

I might not be Skippy, but you can get the results here (http://amiga.org/modules/xoopspoll/pollresults.php?poll_id=16)

Why the sales figures for 3.5 and 3.9? That's not a good indication of market size for various reasons, and H&P never released sales numbers so anything said would be guesswork. Besides many people never bought the 3.5/and 3.9 upgrades, instead sticking with OS3.1. 3.5/3.9 were not major releases. Advanced users could manually upgrade their 3.1 to the same level as 3.9 using freely available software.
Market size is the real question here, the BIG problem is the size of the PAYING market. It's shamefully small ATM.

I think these figures are practically not existent.
So you better could squeeze blood out of a stone.
