Hello there folks,
I recently picked up a A4000/04 complete with a Warpdrive, 1Gb scsi hd, 66M ram, Hydra Ethernet card and a Retina BLT Z3 graphics card.
So I'm finding my around this beast .... slowly
Firstly does anyone have a copy of SCSItools and the "addon" to HDtoolbox to enable me to examine/prep/partition the scsi drive, I have tried looking in Aminet without any luck.
Secondly does anyone know how to setup this Hydra Ethernet card, all I have done so far is to fit a AUI-RJ45 transceiver to physically connect to my router. Now when I power on the A4000 I can see the router port become active (i.e. the port lights up constantly) but I cant get AExplorer to see this port [AE comes up inserial mode]. Also there is a program called Enlan-DFS which appears to start the network, although there does appear to be something missing from the startup.
feel free to reply via the forum or PM me, many thanks, Ian

@dvvrue95:
The normal HDToolBox works just fine with the WarpEngine SCSI controller. You just have to set HDToolBox's icon tooltype "SCSI_DEVICE_NAME=warpdrive.device" and make sure it is uncommented - remove any braces around it. I am not 100% sure that is the exact name of the tooltype, but it is there already so you cant miss it.
Then after starting HDToolBox, select the drive and "Change drive type" if it is a blank drive. If it already is preped/initialized, or when you have done that, just partition away.
Here (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?product=hydra&company=) you can find the disk with the Sana2-device for the Hydra card. You also need to install a TCP/IP stack like AmiTCP or Miami.

Enlan is a proprietary Amiga network system (like Envoy or Samba) for sharing data over a LAN. If the system came with the install disk(s), keep them safe - Enlan's quite uncommon, but it sounds very powerful based on what I've read about it.

keep them in a safe place? SHARE THEM (if there is nobody selling this anymore!)
