Hi all,
I'm getting ready to post my website and thought of something that people might be interested in. I have many Amiga magazines, even from the very early days of Amiga, and was thinking about posting a weekly "Amiga Moment" of something randomly from those magazines. I got a chuckle from seeing a 1987 add for a "huge" 65MB hard drive for only $995.95! I'm keen on the idea, how about you?

sure, i love looking at old magazines and seeing how things have changed

I think it would be fun to see some old articles and kitch adverts from the early days :-)

Always fun stuff. I cringe when I think back to what I paid for those items back in the day. haha!
Do it, it's valuable and cool Amiga history.

***Do not do this!***
It will only serve as a reminder of how I used to be a happy, dreamy kid. This can only be a bad thing.
Please, go ahead and do it. :-)

Be weary of trademark and copyright violations. That's why we didn't do it here.

@Wayne,
Shouldn't be a real issue since;
1-The majority of the companies I would show are out of business.
2-The only thing I'm doing is displaying their own adds as a nod to the past.
3-My site is not making money, nor is it asking for money for anything. It's just an information site.
4-I would, of course, give credit to where I got the add from,I.E. - Amiga Format issue XX, dated XXXX, etc.
BUT, if any of the companies or individuals did actually complain, I would of course stop showing things from the past. I'm NOT looking to step on anyones toes, just help people bring back some fond memories of the early Amiga days. Think of me as a modern day Fred Fish for Amiga Articles and adds. Just trying to help. Thanks for the heads up though. I did do some reading on the matter. It's also very similiar to the random images you guys do; which also shows companies products and hardware.

hmmm... somewhere in my massive National Geographic collection, now stored in boxes, are a couple of ads promoting the A3000. Will try to find, scan and send a copy for your site.
