Hi All,
I have just begun getting back into Amigas, I have an A1200 with 1084 monitor and A2000 with A2630 and A2091 SCSI that have been used on and off since I went PC in 1996.
My real love is the A2000, she is in the UK at the moment but I am bringing her to Bahrain in October and I will be cleaning and upgrading her a bit, not too much though, full ECS chipset etc. But I cannot decide on the OS, she is KS 2.04 and WB2 at the moment, is there any good reason to go to 3.1 or higher?
I have also purchased Amiga Forever, brilliant program, but it has turned a passion into an obsession!! :-o

Hi,
a good choice would be to get working a Kick selector with 1.3 and 3.1 to bring you all the power

Welcome!

it alwasy depends on what you want to do with it

I agree with some sort of ROM switcher implementation between 1.3 and 3.1. The 2.1 ROMs are 'middle of the road', taking away gaming compatability you would get with the 1.3 ROMs and still not giving you the full support modern applications would need from the 3.1 ROMs and OS.
:-D

OK, 3.1 it is, where is the best place to buy a rom switcher? :-?
