Howdy Again,
Is it me, or can you NOT change the color of the Font in OS 3.9?...gonna be hell if you've got a dark background!
There is no way to change the font color on my A2500 w/3.9 OS...am I doing something wrong? Also, still can't play CD's...get message about SCSI command error on gvpscsi.device. Tried everything I could think of...even some I couldn't think of. No Luck! H E L P ! ! !

Look in palette prefs rather than font prefs.
Cheers

@amigoob:
Note that if you change the palette color, other things in WB
will change color, as well, notably 'bright edges' and 'important
text' will be the same color. A better idea might be to make
your own small ColorFont using a prog. like 'FontMachine',
it was given away with an Amiga mag. some time ago. A.org
members will need to verify if giving/trading coverdisk
programs is piracy. (Anyone?) But I could always E-Mail you
a font that would work. I use text in white, outlined in
black...readable on any background...
There may be other ways to do it as well, check Aminet, too.

Palette prefs does not only change colors but also lets you choose which pen to use for "bright edges" or "important text", so it does not need to be the same.
Bye,
