Howdy Folks!
Being that I'm a newb to things like forums & posting things, I'm not sure what exactly to do, but here goes anyway! I have an A2500 w/6.2MB, GVP GForce `030(EC) w/16M RAM running on OS 3.5. I was recently given a CyberGraphX 64/3D card w/2 floppies. I have updated it some w/downloads from Aminet. If I run Cygnus Editor, it will "move" over to my Amiga Monitor. If I try to disable "Force Custom Screen", it just locks up...no GURU, just freezes...??? So I end up having to re-boot. I can get it to come up on the Dell (Sony Trinitron) 17", but only thru DiskMaster...??? And then it's only half screen.
What to do? Also cannot get any Music CD's to play at all no matter what I do. H E L P, pleeze!amigoob@yahoo.com :-?
Remember the Alamo!
Remember the Amiga?

CED 2 is really very old. It probably does not work with RTG expansions. You should upgrade to version 5. It's available here: http://www.apc-tcp.de/support/0030e.html
To play music CDs through a CD-ROM drive in the Amiga you have to connect the sound output of the drive to your loud speakers somehow. Unfortunately there is no line-in connector on the Amiga's motherboard, so you have to create your own solution.
Bye,
Thomas

Yeah, getting the newer version of CED should help. Also, you may need to disable the custom scrolling routines for using CED on a RTG display. (There's a menu option, "Use faster scrolling" or some such thing. Make sure it's NOT picked if you want to use it on a CyberGraphX screen -- otherwise your scrolling will be borked [lines not moving evenly, lots of garbage characters, etc].)

I buy CGX4 and update it too, leave the old one on the floppy !
