Title: Cocolino.driver vs lowlevel.library
Post by: LoadWB on August 15, 2006, 09:14:30 PM
So, imagine my surprise the other night when after ending a game of Deluxe Galaga my A4000D starts endlessly swapping screens (AWeb->WB->Aweb->etc.)  I figured it out pretty quick since I have double-middle-mouse set to change screen depth.  A quick search on Google pulls up info about how lowlevel.library and Cocolino interfere with each other.  What I did not turn up was a fix.  Does anyone know of such a fix?

I've made scripts for each game to fix that - unload cocolino,  load game - after game quits, load cocolino. Not very elegant, I know but has to do until/if there is better fix. I used same scripts in my poor man's sd/ff: start tv-card at full screen, unload cocolino, launch game etc.

I've also got problems with the cocolino driver on my a4000. When I play Quake II it keeps jumping. And when I quit playing other Warp 3D games I suddenly have solid window movement on the workbench? A nice touch but way to slow :-P
To solve it I just unload the cocolino driver before playing those games.
