Is there any noteworthy difference between cables for connecting 2 floppy drives in A2000 and A4000 (you know, those 3-connector cables)?
A friend of mine has A4000 and is ready to make a "clone" for my A2000. I'm just afraid if I could fry something (despite the Commodorre-wise FDD controller)...
Thnx

Taken from another thread about the A2000 floppy cable:
Picture 1 (http://home.wanadoo.nl/leof/FlopCable1.jpg) shows the complete cable. Floppydrive number 1 (df0:) is attached to the end marked with a "1" and number 2 (df1:) to the middle connector.
Picture 2 (http://home.wanadoo.nl/leof/FlopCable2.jpg) shows the number 1 connector. As you can see the wires number 4 and 6 are crossed, by reversing the wires 4, 5 and 6. The red wire is number 1.
