Title: good demos for a stock a1200?
Post by: bubba119 on May 11, 2003, 12:44:35 PM
hey guys
I'm looking for some good demos that will run on a stock a1200 with no expansion (ie memory or processor).
I've found many demos on aminet but most of them seem to require more memory.
can anyone point me to some good web pages?
cheers

Amiga Demoscene Archive (http://ada.planet-d.net/)

And as a followup question, what are the best demos to run from an A1200 with an 030@50Mhz and 8Mb fast, that will fit on a PC-formatted double-density floppy if LHAed (seeing as it's projecting onto a 20 foot screen at the moment, it should be impressive :-D )

Hi.

The following demo's from Amiga Demo Archive (http://www.synotec-newmedia.de/amigademos/index.php3), should work fine on a vanilla A1200.

Andromeda - Nexus 7
Complex - Origin
Complex - Real (maybe)
Polka Brothers - Friday at eight
Polka Brothers - Gevalia
Polka Brothers - The Prey (might require harddrive)
Polka Brothers - Noname
Rebels - Switchback
Virtual Dreams - Love
Virtual Dreams - Fullmoon

ps. working from memory here :-)

any ideas on how to run nexus 7?
my a1200 says not an executable file.
does it need to be run without workbench?
