Hi folks.
I've just bought the Indivision Scandoubler/Flicker Fixerfor my A4000 and I plugged it in and I can see the PAL Hires mode nicely on my LCD monitor. But when I go into PAL Hires Laced I get the following weird picture. The fields seems to have been offset to both sides. I've adjusted the phase trim screw to see if it helped but no go.
Here's the image showing my problem:

Can anyone help me getting that adjusted or somehow lead me in the right direction?
Thanks.

Indeed a strange picture. I tried to use the Indivision on a bare A1200 with my Medion 17" tft (Aldi) and used Super Hires Laced and the picture was as good as crystal clear ...

A stupid question but have you enabled the "phase trim"? If I'm not mistaking there should be a small switch next to the screw that need to be set correctly or the "phase trim screw" is ignored as far as I know.
-
When I adjusted the screw the signal disappeared and then I turned it back and it reappeared. So I believe it's working. But I'll check the switch to see if it makes a difference.

Well I cannot seem to see a switch on the end of the Indivision. Only a phase screw. Here's a picture of it:

try with an NTSC hireslaced mode. (only for testing pourpose)

NTSC Hires Lace works fine. It's just PAL Hires Lace that gives me problems. Been adjusting the phase screw like a madman to get it right..

It's not something like you have a flat panel which doesnt like 50Hz at this res?
A lot of LCD monitors dont like 50Hz at the best of times.
It might be worth trying it on a CRT.

Well I do have a 24" Samsung 16:9 LCD monitor that I use for it together with my PC. It was just a temporary solution. I'll put up another CRT monitor for the Amiga to see how it goes.

It is my understanding that the "switch" you refur to is no longer on the last few runs of the scandoubler. Only the screw is on most of them now.
Pal is a hard one for LCD monitors to sync to so as suggested try a different monitor and see what hapends.

Hi,
I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY INDIVISION and an A600. The solvage of this problem is very easy :-D
You can screw very far in both directions and after I tried to screw behind the stage where the picture has gone, I found another range with a clear hires lace picture. Try to turn the screw far (farer than ever before) into both directions.

Thanks, I'll try to see if I can get it turned further. :) For now the NTSC Hires Laced resolution works.
