Title: Looking for RAM for my Blizzard 1230-IV Turbo Board
Post by: SprPsycho on August 08, 2006, 10:26:40 PM
So, like I've already had to return RAM once because I failed to ask about the size.. and it's very annoying since most of the vendors I've looked at don't seem to care to mention physical size of said RAM cards on product pages.

I am looking for either 64MB or 128MB simms that will really fit... no rubberbands and no removed trap door.

Got any or know a good source?

In that case you need to look for slimline single sided 64 Mb EDO Ram, double sided 64 Mb will not fit, just like 128 Mb modules as there are no single sided 128 Mb modules, at least not as far as I know off ...
I don´t have any single sided 64 Mb Simms and don´t know any private person that can sell them but I think there must be several shops that have plenty of those to offer  :-)

I see that you are in the US. You can have 64MB for $20 +postage from here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRAND-NEW-64MB-EDO-NON-PARITY-50NS-72PIN-SIMM-ADEAL_W0QQitemZ6865520957QQihZ013QQcategoryZ4611QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and to me it looks like it might fit.
