Title: A1000 in ZyXEL manual
Post by: motorollin on August 08, 2006, 09:42:55 PM
ZyXEL Communications Corp. (http://www.zyxel.is/data/Island_ZyXEL%20Intro.pdf)

Have a look at page 10. I think it's cool that an established communications company like ZyXEL would put a picture of an A1000 in their literature! :-)

That has in most cases a simple reason. No copyright problems because C= is dead.

I often see C64 / Ataris / Amigas in adds, manuals, flyers etc.

If they wanted to print a photograph of an Amiga, they would have to own the copyright to the photograph, not the Amiga (or have permission from the photographer to use it). Even if the copyright for the Amiga itself no longer exists, they would still need to hold the copyright to the photo, or permission to use it.

So I don't think it's anything to do with copyright.
