I love car boot sales! I just scored a CD32 with powerpack, original controller and cables AND a 600HD with discs cables, manuals and a big stack of games for...wait for it...£5! I just plugged them in to check them out and they both work fine :-D. The only thing is the 600HD's case is very yellowed, oh well its better than a kick in the pods!
I'll post pics when I get home and do a more thorough investigation. The Hard disc SEEMS fine, and there is some expansion card plugged into the trapdoor slot (looks like a standard RAM expansion) Can't wait to get home and check it out properly.
One VERY happy bunny in Wiltshire! :-D :-D :-D

WOW!! This NEVER happens in the US... It ends up on ebay and someone pays an arm or a leg for A600 or CD32's :P

That also never happens to me too.
But I once bought a BlizzardPPC which I knew was defect and managed to fix it without and side effects!
Not really difficult if someone rams a screwdriver into the side of the PowerPC trying to get off the fan. I only had to solder a pin back to the board to get it going again.
Still waiting for me to wonder into a room where I can buy a bunch of A4000 for 25 euro a piece.

Well.It happens to me! even better...........I find AMigas here in the Streets of New York City
Found an A3000 with an OpalVision Card and EMPLANT board once..right next to an A2000 and 1084s monitor........it was from a school apparently................another time found another A3000, and also an A500 with 1084 monitor. Other than that, I always find Pentium 4 computers complete with 40 gig Harddrives and all. People are nuts here :-)

I need to visit NYC, then. I rarely, if ever, find any of the old codgers around here ever have anything like that.
The best gold I ever found is at Air Force base garage sales. I was always assured to find something of interest, especially Commodore 64 and old Atari stuff. Hrmmmm... I might have to make a trip back home and go garage saling with me mum, since she can get on an AFB.
