Title: Spend a year overseas and everyone else drops the ball too...
Post by: peroxidechicken on August 06, 2006, 01:07:12 AM
I followed all things amiga related fairly closely until I went away to travel.  I understand that microA1 systems were sold to actual users and more were expected for September 2005 - what's the problem with manufacturing the existing and (somewhat) proven A1 motherboard designs?  Is it that no more new people are being allowed into the OS4 beta tester program?

btw I realize that this has probably become yet another thorny issue for our community and I have done quite a few searches to find out for myself - no good so I'm asking here.

ROHS at this point, and before that point, MAI is MIA, don't know where the chips would come from.

Oh...  Well thanks for the explanation.  So in Europe, where does that leave anything that uses a battery?  I'm thinking not just of laptops but also things like cars - especially zero emmission cars.
