Title: A4000T disks module backplate ?
Post by: Jose on August 05, 2006, 01:10:28 PM
My disks module arrived. The thing is new, but it doesn't have the backplate. Does anyone knows where I can get it or some substitute. I looked around some PC ones but they don't fit. Don't fell like cutting one (don't even have the equipment and I think would be a waste of time). The back of the A4000T looks weird without the plate.
Already asked Veslia why they didn't include one, and if they have one (probably not, waiting for answer) but if anyone has one that fits would be cool.

@ Jose

You gonna have to cut, my son.
'Cos even if you take the plane off one of these (http://www.revealcable.co.uk/acatalog/SCSI.html#aAA1278) you have to cut a hole for the dip switches.

The DIP switches don't need to be changed very often, though, so maybe you could just pop off the generic plate when you need to - it appears to clear the switches.
