WANTED
I had Syndicate installed on my HD (done by a friend once)
The HD has crashed and the game is lost.
I have no copy :boohoo:
Can anybody help me to get me a new copy?
(Not from the internet/aminet/download sites etc please!)
I have not got the slightest idea how this friend installed in on my amiga 1200.
Is it possible to get it on FD and sent it to me?
HELP!

There are a couple of copies of Syndicate on eBay. You will still need to download the WHDLoad installer for it and get this on to your Amiga in order to install it. Otherwise you will have to run it from the disks.

Nope Syndicate has it`s own custom installer. No need for WHDLoad here.

was just going to say them same thing. I have a copy and had it sinec it came out, but you would have to pry it from my cold dead hands :)
on another note, did anybody ever get american revolt to work. I have tried a few times, and it always crashes

WHDLoad will make it easier to run, however. I've found that most old games with hard drive installers are unstable and crash-prone on anything but the absolute most basic systens, and Syndicate is no exception. WHDLoad solves these problems. And it zaps copy protection.

Actually, Syndicate is one of the games which I still haven't got to run nicely on my B1260. At times it crasches... (locks the system completely) and when saving I get garbage graphics all over the screen which flashes around forever.

It runs fine on my machine, but I prefer to play the Mac version under ShapeShifter. It has higher resolution, 256 colours and best of all music during play.

Not to be a wet blanket, but I think the site T&Cs forbid the posting of links to abandonware etc.

Syndicate is available for download from AmiSectorOne, which distributes Amiga software in a free and legal way.
