After reading a few posts, I am beginning to wonder if I should have sold the A3000 with 2.1 on it... I would love to get a CD Rom hocked up...
But anyhows, anyone interested in an A3000 can find it on ebay -- it's due to close tomorrow at 10h00 EDT.
Just a side note, do the 1200s come with a HD?

What do you mean by that? My A3000 runs 3.1 and I've had several CD-ROMs running on it.
Anyways, a link or ebay auction ID is usually a nice addition to a post like this.

I think this is the auction he is refering to.
Amiga 3000 OS3.1 1GB HD, 18MB RAM (http://cgi.ebay.com/Amiga-3000-OS3-1-1GB-HD-18MB-RAM_W0QQitemZ110011933424QQihZ001QQcategoryZ4598QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Sorry folks, a little sleep deprived here.
On the A3000 I am keeping, I wish I had a CD ROM - I have heard that OS 3.1 supports a CD-ROM and that 2.1 requires a bit more work to get one working.
I am keeping the A3000 with AmigaDos 2.1 because it works with a lot more legacy software.

Holy crap 90 dollars shipping.
Thats a little excessive
You might have gotten more bids if the shipping was close to actual.

I'm sure that he'll come up with plenty of reasons for the excessive shipping price:
- it takes a long way to get to the post office
- it sucks having to pack the items up
- gas prices
- global warming
- war in Iraq
- the local crime rate
etc.
