Title: video cards

I have a couple of questions about video cards. If I buy a video card from a place in europe, do I still need to worry about whether it is NTSC or PAL? Also, is a scan doubler ABSOLUTELY necessary if I am not planning on running Amiga-native screen modes?

video cards use vga and svga scan modes. not ntsc or pal
