This link (http://www.linux-m68k.org/dists.html) should give you a good place to start.  There are a few things to consider when trying to run Linux on an Amiga.  First of all, many of the distrubutions are older and may not have drivers for all the "latest" AMIGA expansion cards (graphics, CPU, etc...) so be sure you read the docs before you decide on which flavor to try.  I was using 2.1 until last year (I am slowly getting out of using my Amiga).

Debian is the distro with the best support I think. The current release debian 3.1 is available for 68k. As far as I know the red hat port hasn't been updated in a long time, but debian rocks so that shouldn't bother you :-)

When I tried M68k Linux a couple of years ago it worked pretty well, but it didn't seem to have any capability to use my  PCMCIA network card, meaning I couldn't get it on the network, making it a bit useless really. Maybe that situation has changed recently.

Word of advice: if your CPU board has a MAPROM feature, before you start make sure it's OFF.

I was wondering about Linux too. I read a lot of those files but still don't know how to go about installing Debian. Of course, I will need to get a CD-ROM for my 2000 before I can attempt anything.

Do you know if Debian has support for the CyberVisionPPC?
