dont they go for about $250-300 on ebay?
-
Hi,
No, they usually go for around $450.00 to $525.00
Thanks!
-
Well, you can ask whatever you want, but IMO $450 for such a basic setup is a bit steep.
-
nah.. I see them for around 250-300.maybe 350 with a Toaster.. good luck w/the sale though. :-)
what happened to your ebay account?
-
TheMagicM:
Thanks for your comments. I've sold these in the past with the same configuration and condition for $450.00 to $525.00 with the original manuals, which I don't have for this, so is the reason for me asking $450.00 which is a little negotiable.
As for eBay, I'm in the process of trying to fix, but it may take a week or two, so I thought I would list a few things here. A person that was staying at my address was doing some eBaying that I wasn't aware of under there own account and has been suspended and has affected my account because of the address's being the same.
I would like to apologize to anyone that was watching and bidding on the items I had listed. I had alot going and its very unfortunate this has happened. I'm trying to rectify it as soon as I can. So, in the meantime maybe some Amiga users can use some of the items I have.
Thanks.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. That is the nature of eBay. I have gotten as much as $450 for a bare a4kd motherboard on eBay. Alternatively I have bought a whole A4kD desktop with a few goodies for ~$140.

Naah, it is what it is. eBay is a free marketplace, people will bid what they want to pay. It goes both ways. I have made nice $$ at times, and I have lost my shirt at times.

I agree fully. But this isn't eBay. And I doubt you'll find the same level of sucker here.

Just uploaded a picture to Misc Amiga Images.

picture always sells it better imo :-)

adolescent: be good...it is a little expensive IMO...but lets keep it clean in this thread.

to what price. :)
I'm not going to argue for high prices but this seller actualy has had some good deals. whats should she just give it away? jesus, "adolesent" why don't you give out some free amigas, man .... free love.... stupid, if she wants $450 take it or leave it (or make an offer). I have gotten a good deal form this person and she shipped quick! (only have limited experience with this vendor!)
Ps: if any of you NON e-bay NON suckers want to GIVE me any dasfamiga stuff, contact me for my shipping address I'm ready for you PPC boards! seriosly!

I was asking $450.00 + shipping, but I just edited the original listed and reduced the price to $300.00 + shipping.
Thanks.

But, you gotta remember that it's
Cyberstorm / Newtek Video Toaster / Flyer Ready!

A Cyberstorm MKII would go for around 300 USD in the UK...
I'd give my right arm for an A4000! How do you tell what revision the Buster chip is?

Its marked as -09 or -11

No 'shit Sherlock.
:-D
So where is the Buster chip on the motherboard?
-
Right next to the Memory banks... Duh! :-D

Hang on a second... it doesn't come with a Cyberstorm... it's just ready for one!?
:-D
A generic A4000 '040 doesn't get much more than 260 GBP unless it's boxed - that's about equivalent in US dollars as UK folks tend to pay way too much for these (the Germans buy full Cyberstorm PPC kits for not much more).
Maybe lower the price to something crazy and let people scrap for it. I remember putting things on for just 1 GBP and people would fight tooth and nail!
-
Well I've bought from Boogiegail on Ebay several times including my A4000D and I've found he/she, sorry not sure which, to be honest albiet a bit slow to ship sometimes. :-P
My A4000D is still going strong or I'd be interested in it myself.
Good luck BG!

What's the best somebody can offer me on this? Please be nice... :-)

$125?

Well I hate to say it but it's true. Even the slightest leak and the RTC clock and or worse are already damaged! I would remove that battery ASAP!!!
