I just bought an Amiga 1200. The seller obviously knew nothing about it. He told me he thought it was stock with no addons or rom upgrades.
I open that sucker up , its got 3.0 roms and a MBX 1230 xa addon board with ram. That board is prob worth the price of the 1200 alone.
Does anyone have the manual? I have the disks but they are in DMS form. Which program is easiest for dms to disk?
I assume due to kickstar 3.0 roms , this item needs software to install. Would it be better to get 3.1 roms?

I am sure we have a couple of manuals around here- have to check though.
It is best to use Kickstart 3.1 ROM (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=62)s with this accelerator to make the memory autoconfig.

Amigakit what about the cpu , I assume software would make that go live too?
I dont see it via Sysinfo program.
The machine is really fast like my a3000 so Im wondering if its just not reporting properly.
