My setup is as per my signature. I haven't done my upgrading software wise in the last year or so. I was wondering if anyone could suggest ideas for must have upgrades? For example faster datatypes etc just general updates/upgrades that I should definately have that will make my system run a bit smoother. Also is there anyway to turn off the A4000T scsi and ide on startup so that it picks up my cyberstorm mkiii SCSI faster? Please put forward all suggestions on software upgrades.

Hmmm - as I just have an towerized A4000 D, I don't have onboard SCSI and so can't tell you how to disable it.
But there certainly is a way to disable the internal IDE.
It requires some experience with soldering, an unused IDE-plug with a little bit cable attached and IIRC two resistors (and an soldering iron, of course) - not a big job.
I would have to look for the schematics when I come home - hopefully there's still the URL on it from where I downloaded the stuff...

You can disable the onboard SCSI and IDE from the Cyberstorm Boot Menu.
