Hello:
The Good News is that I am now back on my Macintosh Mini :-) The friend that I sold it to 6 months ago wanted a good PC -- I wanted to dump the PC and go back to a Macintosh so long story short -- we traded.
Like I said, the interesting part was that I have the machine that I purchased in the first place :-)
Now to the question: I need to find an Amiga Emulator as complete as WinUAE for the Macintosh, I have my own ROM images from my A1200 and I want to run a hardfile so that I have a virtual machine that is close to my real hardware. This leaves out this program I saw called "maxUAE". Not sure about E-UAE either... had it for Linux and it didn't really work as well as I would have liked.
What programs do people around here use with MacOS X (10.4.7).
Thanks for any advice... step by step to get EUAE running might be nice too.

Winuae is the best Amiga emulator
it can't be compared with other UAE ports
anyways I tryed E-UAE on linux cause they claim that have the good things of winuae....je je je je
pure crap
experiment a bit on your mac...try all ...mac-uae,euae
but don't dream that you will find something descent
bye, Laser

E-UAE is the best.
MaxUAE isn't updated anymore :-(
First runs fine on my Power MacG5

There isn't one.
Time to switch back again? ;-)

@Piru
We do not like Windows... one app is not going to break me, but it is a shame to loose the emulator capability for testing reasons.
I hate Microsoft sooo much.

Get a new Mac and dual boot Windows and WinUAE on that :-P.

Yup, I use E-UAE on my iBook here,the only thing I miss sometimes is the JIT.
But even without that, Piru's WhichAmiga says it's approximately a 25mhz '020 , which is fast enough for most of my needs.

For those not on the E-UAE mailing list, EvilRich has released a new OSX/PPC binary from the latest source snapshot linkety link (http://www.rcdrummond.net/uae/test/20060711/E-UAE.dmg.gz)
Don't forget you can also donate the link on his E-UAE page (http://rcdrummond.net/uae/index.html) to help keep him in beer (We all know beer is a good motivator ;-) )

@doobrey
Thanks for the link. I agree, do support development!
@everyone
That will probably work out.
