Title: Amiga Games Site Hacked :(
Post by: The_Power_of_the_Ginger on July 10, 2006, 10:43:37 PM
Just checked 3 mins ago to find http://amiga.magix.name/index.php has been hacked by some evil no-do-gooder. Sigh...

A shame, that site provides a large number of ready-made WHDLoad Amiga games. I, of course, download the ones I already have (like SWOS 97) and then I've got a hard drive creaking with 200 Amiga games.

Hackers, eh? **ckers, more like. :-(

Excuse me, but from the sound of it that site wasn't exactly legal.

Sounds more like poetic justice to me.

Not to in anyway be rude but if the page have been hacked it must have been due to poorly security reasons, also I might ad that every decent webpage got backups and if this page dident have that well then  they aint to serius :( also the page diden't sound to legal with lots of games on.

Also i might ad that SeWaN is kinda a noob hacker group allmost unknown by the global hacker scene due to their "noobish" apperance and imature attempts to be a official scene group, how do i know this? well im a member of a more "Legit" group who does not hack to get thier names out we just keep uself in the demo scene and makes some nice MOD music also we are RE games to make crack and holding a quite low profile. btw hail the allmighty Razor 1911 (to bad scott did quit :( )

Also i just checked their php database and guess what?
They use Apache 2.0 without extensions and rollback system so even a kid who knows a bit about PHP and standart port phreking could destroy their database compiled with a weak encryption!!!!
