I've just posted a short Q&A with Martyn Brown of Team 17 at my site. Not any scoops or so, but perhaps it could be of some interest to anyone into reading really short interviews about video games. ;-)
Anyway, here it goes:

Nice interview, a bit short, but hey, who am I to complain? :-)
Good to see that he took a little time to answer the questions :-D
Worms3D and "something else" (grin).
Worms 3D ?!?! That'll be very strange indeed.
Could the "something else" be Alien Breed? :-D
btw, cheers for that interview Bezzen :-D
Nice site aswell :-D

@Vincent

Yeah, but from previous experiences I think this is as many questions I can have if I want them to be answered. Otherwise they'll just end up in some kind of "too long interview without any real PR value"-spam filter.
:-D

My guess would be that it's exactly that. There were some shots posted about a month ago on a gaming site from what was said to be Alien Breed 2K3 (or something like that) for the PS2.
-
Actually there already is a Worms 3D (http://www.wormshl.fr.st/), and it's free too! It's a HalfLife mod :-).
-
@Bezzen
Yeah, I remember that thread on here about Alien Breed 2K3 for the PS2 - the screenshots looked sh*t-hot :-D
@odin
Trust you to get a HalfLife mention in here :-P
-
I want that Team17 come back to Amiga :-(
-
Yeah, i know! WormsHL is very nice :-D
We need HL for Amy

HL for Amiga is very unlikely for many reasons. I remember once Hyperion guys talking about the issue.

Nice interview.
Worms3D and "something else" (grin).
If they don't have any other big titles lined up then the missing title is Alien Breed 2K4 for PS2.
here is a snip from Martyn Brown on 2K4:
The game itself is still pretty much in pre-production as we're still dealing with prospective publishers, but the game is a console action game with a light RPG/Stealth element, but certainly carries the feel, tension and atmosphere of our much revered original game which was released ten years back on the Amiga."
More info and a few screenies here (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/r/?page=http://www.computerandvideogames.com/news/news_story.php?id=85459)
Reminds me of DOOM III done AB style, looking good :-)

Like the interview. And...
Which is your favourite platform you've ever developed games for?[
Amiga, without doubt...
If the Amiga does get more popular, I'd imagine that they'd be pretty enthusiastic :-)
-
Huh !!
What next.........
Genetic Species on X-Box ?
Bloody sacrillage.

Bloody sacrillage.
Fair play to em, they aint gonna make much money in the Amiga market in its current state and i dont see whats wrong with doing a revamp on an old classic if done correctly.
As alx pointed out, if and when the Amiga does become major platform to develop for again, these guys would be top of the old Amiga games developer list i'd love to see again, always quality.
Alittle left of the topic:
I just need them to follow in the Bitmaps/Digital illusions path, getting those old gems ported to the GBA.
Playing Pinball Dreams/Fantasies on the GBA is more fun than you would believe, perfect conversion besides the great intro tune of Dreams butchered somewhat.
Those 2 games pinball come under 1 pack and is now called Pinball Deluxe Challenge.
Shame the developers (Crawfish) who where in the process of doing other Amiga games for the GBA have since seemed to have disapeared/belly up
:-x

Cheers for that link Calen. I forgot just how good it looks! :-o
I mean, just look at that shot of the flamethrower! :-o
Can't wait to see that in action :-o :-D
Looks great as my backdrop! :-D

No problemo Vince, yeah does look good, still some way of release. Could be worth the long wait though.
Superfrog 2 would be nice :-D
<-- hums the catchy first level tune ;-)
