@Gav

Good grief! Use some punctuation and capitals, mate. Makes it a lot easier to read for others.

Check your power supply. Are you drawing too much power? And make sure the internal leads aren't damaged. Mine are, and if I move the machine, it may or may not work.

@Gav

Sounds like your power supply is getting drained more that it should, try removing other pieces of hardware and see if they go brighter,

If they do not go brighter then replace the PSU or keep it until it goes to heaven.

Also why the personal attacks? if you look at your first post it is hard to read in one big paragraph.

Hey its just he is the only one that kicks off about it.This aint the first time,so dont cry people jesus.Anyways the reason was the power flyer wasnt connected right as i pushed on it and it all lit up again.

I have a power tower also, A4k /060/48mb/ with video toaster 4000.  The system runs fine but when I use the "Montage" Character Generator instead of the Toaster CG My power and HD leds dim also.  The system still runs fine.  I just figured it was some software quirk.

So...erm......if someone is the only one who says a certain thing it's allright to insult him?

>This aint the first time,so dont cry people jesus

Huh? Have I ever made remarks about your spelling before?

;-) Odin is not the only one who notices sloppy writing.  It's a pet peeve of many members on this site, yours truly included.  If you take the time to sort out your spelling, grammar, punctuation, etceteras, then the people who read your posts will think about what you’ve said, instead of wondering what you’ve said.  There’s a subtle difference.

If a writer masters his craft, his reader encounters not words, but only ideas.

please... with the sorry shape the amiga community is in, now is hardly the time to nitpick on users over grammar.

;-) I don't mean to pick over a simple misplaced comma, although we’ve all seen examples of the difference that a single comma can make.  Rather, I was referring to the less common post that is so garbled that many readers cannot tell what the poster is trying to say.  Those are frustrating.

Whenever I encounter posts that need decoding I hardly ever make the effort and just skip to the next thread/posting. I think that whenever you can't be arsed to proofread and leave the post as a garbled bunch of letters, you block out quite a few (lazy, such as me (I?)) readers.

Good god!look at this ive got replys but many for the wrong reason.Yes you have said about my punctuation once before,ya see your that obbsessed you dont even know you`re doing it.To be frank i couldnt give 2 fu*king sh*ts what my writing/typing looks like.I missed all of high school due to speech problems therfore when ppl go on i blow so yeah screw you i dont give a toss.Ive been handed sh*t over the past 8 years my amiga is the only thing that has kept me from cracking up.So when i see ppl going on over not impotant stuff it bugs me.Not exactly the perfect life of a 20 year old esp when ya been on the sick since 16.Well to hell with it i wont post again i cant be arsed with it.

Hm, I apologize if you feel offended by it. It honestly wasn't my intention to make you feel bad or anything :-(.

@Gav:

:-( Dude, I didn’t know that you’d been sick since age sixteen, or that you’d missed high school.  And it wasn’t my intention to make you feel bad.

:-? Have you considered looking into getting a G.E.D.?  There are programs out there that can help.  One of the beautiful things about Internet forums like Amiga.org, et. al., is that speaking isn’t even necessary.  Take my own situation, for example.  I plan to have some dental work done in the near future, and I anticipate being unable to speak clearly for a while.  However, on line, I expect that no one will even know, let alone care.

Nah dont worry about it ppl,as it should be me to be sorry i guess.Ive just been in loads of trouble ya know with ppl laughing and stuff at when i stutter.Im a bit better now since im in speech therapy,ive been there since Jan 2002.But the thing that bugs me is i wanted a therapist in 1998 but they never sent me until 2002.
Well ive been claiming sick money since i was 16 going on 17 but ive been like this since i was 12 nearly 13.Plus it always got to fights and stuff which got me,but i was no wimp anyways.
Plus im sick 2 death of moving house so much,i dunno why its like mine and my brothers face dont fit?i get looks off charvers wanting 2 pick a fight everywhere i go?.So i dont get it,ive had bikes stole,had knives pulled out on us,bricks thrown.So in my current house im wanting 2 move once more,as last year me and my bro were walking 2 theshop for some cola as his car was off the road and we got chased off stoned and drunk idiots for no reason.They were like around 26/7/8 and i was 19?its a crap hole in here.
Anyways sorry about blowing my top ya know.

 :-(

I'll try to be more considerate in the future, Gav. Friends?

/me shakes Gav's hand  :-D.

Anyhoo, have your tried measuring the voltage on the 12v and 5v connections on your computer? As for IBrowse, I think that the website is the only place where you can get it. AFAIK there are no more boxed versions.

Hm, is that the new freeware AWeb? I only used the Aweb which came with OS3.5 and found it utter ####e.

Well ive tried the one i got with os3.9 and the freeware but they both do the same.
Its a pain having to use ibrowse to get mail then aweb for everything else,i wish somewhere sold it other than online.
