Title: 4X EIDE CD Problem in OS 3.9

I am having a problem with my cdrom not being found in OS 3.9.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    What do you mean by not being found? Did it work before under a different OS? How is it connected? You sure your cables, jumper settings and power cables are all ok? Have you got the device name nadthe unit number right? Any kind of error messages or anything reported?

It worked great under os 3.5, but is not working under OS 3.9.  No error message reported. Thank You

It is connected to the EIDE connector and it is device number CD2. Everything else is connected correctly.

Do you have SETPATCH SKIPROMUPDATES "scsi.device" in your startup sequence and edited out all scsi.device in your nfdspatch with a # in front of scsi.device?
Had to do it on my A1200 for the CD to be mounted properly.
Read the intructions that are on the install disk
