Title: AHI 6 error: can't open openpci.library

I just installed AHI6 on my amiga (no previous ahi version installed) and when I open the ahi.pref I get this error: can't open openpci.library and the prefs start when I press OK, and it works... but wth is this error?  :-o

semes to be a mediator\grex problem do you have your voodoo installed now ???

yes, voodoo3 installed and g-rex 2DMA version... just like my signature... is it ahi6 causing it? because I run in some  probs with software running ok in ahi5 but not in ahi6...

Have you got a sound card installed?
Best to remove any audio drivers not in use.
If no sound card, just leave in Paula drivers and filesave.

just did a FRESH os3.9 install... still the same error... ofcourse I have the terratec128i on the g-rex,
and the only drivers are ESS-Solo1, paula and filesave...

Maybe this sounds a bit too obvious, but:

How about installing OpenPCI since it's required (by emu10kx)?

Solution found thanx to Piru:

In DEVS:AHI there is  emu10kx.audio ... which is not used by G-REX1200 , so by deleting this  emu10kx.audio device, there is no more request about openpci.library...
