Title: EIDE 99 and multi volume CDs
Post by: lurkist on June 29, 2006, 10:35:23 PM
With CDFSprefs (from IDEfix 97), you could choose to view the CD-Rom as Multi-volume or Multi-Session.  The software that comes with EIDE 99 does not seem to allow this, and only shows the first (or last - can't remember) session.

Can the EIDE 99 adaptor be used with IDEFix 97 s/w?  Will this slow it down?

Cheers

You dont have to use the whole IDEFIX package- just use the L:CacheCDFS and the CacheCDFS prefs program.  This works fine with the 4xEIDE Interface (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=194) and the FastATA (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=192)

If you want the CD mountlist, pmail.

OK I'll give it a try.  Thanks.
