Title: Software database programs...
Post by: nagaflas on June 28, 2006, 10:39:13 PM
I've used programs like Kingfisher and Aquarium for a while. But as my PD collection has grown, I've had to keep long, disorganized text files with the lists of all my programs. Sometimes, it becomes so frustrating that I end up not even trying to locate a program because there is so much work actually finding what I want from which particular disk.

Is there a good, easy to use program for the Amiga out there which will let me input my own data by disk, collection, program name, etc, and make all that data keyword searchable?

Thanx in advance.

Xbaze

http://www.aminet.net/package.php?package=biz/dbase/XBaze-7.3.lha

Very easy to use,program,search,browse,sort,etc.
No longer developed, but it's near perfect as it is.

Yes, XBaze is great. You can also try MUIbase:
http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/muibase

MUIbase is a relational database and it's now free and open source.
