Title: Question For Linux Pegasos Users
Post by: Mercid on June 26, 2006, 09:57:03 PM
What kind of performance can I expect running OSX under Mac On Linux?  How usable is it running on a Peggy with a G4?

Any information would be helpful and appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric-

Hi

I have a Peg 2 g4 w/ 512mb ram and Radeon 7500 agp card. I run both Debian 2.6.12 and "molk" a mini kernel used for MOL. I am proud to say I run OS X Panther very well on the peg with MOL. I am able to use mass storage usb devices, firewire harddrive access, and totally usable with Photoshop 7, Lightwave 7, internet apps, and general 2d operations are quite fast. Its like having a real mac!

ps Not only that you can run IE as well as Firefox and Safari,M$  Office OSX, and you can dual boot with Morphos and use all your amiga apps! So pretty much an all in one computer and no Winblowz needed!
