Title: How do I upload to my own site?
Post by: FuZion on May 04, 2003, 08:24:30 PM
Hello again,

I am just wondering, what, if any, programs are on the Amiga that I can use to upload & maintain my own website?

Can anyone suggest anything?

May depend on your ISP, but a FTP-proggie should be enough
to upload a website.

Maintaining a site can mean lots of things, but you can use
GoldED (with plug-ins) to easy the task of writing one.

I just want to put content on that peeps can see & hear & update it when there's more.

I've just been speaking with people on #AmiHelp, I've got DOpus FTP & AmiTradeCentre suggested so far.

Any advances?

Try AmFTP from Aminet. I use it all the time without a single problem.

The download has a 'free' 60 (120?) day trial before you'll be asked to register it. Worth doin'. It's great!

Cheers,
