Is it possible to use SerNet or Amigalink to set up an internet connection? I know that both of these devices are less than robust as far as speed is concerned, but has anyone successfully used either of these devices with a high speed internet connection?
Also, I've hear that Amigalink can achieve ~50kb/s. I know that Sernet is slow, but does anyone know the approx speed of this cable?
Thanks

Can a hypercom 1 serial device for the Amiga 1200 be made to work with an Amiga 500?

Well, it seems I found the answer to my question:
It is possible to use Amiga-Link with the internet. Too bad there aren't any around, because this is a good solution for Amiga 500 users. And the speed isn't all that bad, considering. I mean 50k/sec is pretty good (considering a 1.5MPS dsl connection averages speeds of 180k/sec)

Well it seems I have been somewhat misinformed. From what I understand, the only way it is possible to connect to the internet is if the host computer is connected to the internet. Ugh...
