Hi
I have abit of a strange setup. I have an IDE to SCSI cable connected to the HD connection on the A1200 board. The SCSI cable has 2 connections, one which has a SCSI 540mb HD and has OS3.1 installed and works fine, the other ive connected a cd rom drive to it but cant get the A1200 to recognise it as a drive, any ideas how I can do this, do I need drivers or anything?
thanks in advance.

hmmm, I dont think that is possible, as the Hardrive connector on the A1200 is IDE, not SCSI.............I have never heard of it being possible to convert SCSI to IDE via a cable.................but anyway.....what you are probably doing is converting regular 3.5 CDROM or Hardrive IDE, to Laptop type IDE connector which is what the A1200 has and the A600
although if I am not mistaken......in Commodore's wonderful wisdom, the IDE port is controlled by scsi.device which is probably really IDE but named SCSI..............
