Title: A500 and MIDI
Post by: pakipak on June 16, 2006, 06:51:07 PM
Hi,
I am new to this forum and I would like to use my Amiga A500 to create some music. It is a weird A500 because it was shipped with a Rev 8a motherboard and it has 1MB RAM, Fat Agnus 8375 and Kickstart 1.3. Which MIDI applications are the most suitable for this machine? I have read about Startrekker v1.3 and Noisetracker v2.0 (which is based in Soundtracker v2.3). The computer has a TS MIDI interface attached to the serial port which I want to use for MIDI communication.

OctaMED is your best option.

I'd agree with that.

I still rock the 'med on pretty much a daily basis. Take me ages to do the same things in cubase or whatever...
