I already answered here: http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=22867
I've also got your mail, but I cannot answer private mails from here at work. The photos don't show much except that you are not a very good photographer.
Regarding pin 1, there should be a big white "1" printed on the motherboard, you cannot miss it. See this photo of the motherboard: http://www.amiga-hardware.com/download_photos/a1200mb_rev1d4.jpg
The same is true for the HDD and the CD-ROM. Sometimes there is just a small triangle pointing to pin 1, sometimes there is only a small 1, sometimes there is a small 1 on one end and a small 40 resp. 44 on the other end and sometimes a diagram is printed on the top of the case. Just look for it, it is there. You might also surf to the homepage of the HDD's manufacturer and search for a manual.
Another hint is that if you mount the HDD to where it should be, then you shouldn't need to twist the cable between the HDD and the motherboard.
Bye,
Thomas
