Title: Beyond 4GB with the Blizzard-IV SCSI-kit - a possibility?
Post by: patrik on May 03, 2003, 03:33:54 PM
Does anyone know if it is possible to use a bigger harddrive than 4GB with Blizzard-IV SCSI-kit and make use of the whole disk, not just the first 4GB?

Only if the FileSystem installed can cope with it such as AmigaOS 3.5 or 3.9 or Professional File System or Smart FS.

IIRC p5 scsitools disk also include a patch to original AOS 3.1 fastfilesystem, so that it can handle >4gig.

PFS3 can do it, PFS3ds of course, SFS can, FFS V43 can (this is the patch mentioned below), FFS V44 can do it, if NSDPatch or OS3.5/3.9 is installed.

FFS v44 is the patched version with TD64 support, it doesn't need NSDPatch. FFS v43 and 45 are the NSD versions.
