Hi pepes. Can anybody help. I have jsut strted being inrested in newsgruops. Anyway my miggy is dead at mo(****ed bvision card) and I have found a news group that has zipped files posted to it.
Using outlok how do i extract the zip file. I have tried cuting and pasting the message to a txt file, but this doent work.
How do I do it, or do i need a diff newsgroup reader on the pcthat can extract the file as binary?

There should be a paper clip image in the right hand corner to indicate there is a binary in the message, click on it and "Save as" then save it,
If however you see lines of mad text you might need Yenc or UUencode to make it in to a file.
If you download loads of files from newsgroups like i do then download a dedicated program like Grabit (http://http://ex1.callihq.net/grabit/GrabIt146b.exe).
