Post by: MuLTiViEW on May 31, 2006, 11:29:29 AM
I was looking for someone who used to love Pinball games...

 DanDude.

Anyone seen ole DandyDudey lately?  ;)

The fellows over on AmigaIRC dedicated this fun page (http://amigairc.amigarevolution.com/buildabetterdandude.htm) in his loving honor.  We miss you Danny!!!!!!    Come back to us.

(we are trying to organize a get-together)

I am definitely one.. I often find myself firing up my a1200 for a round of pinball.. This is mostly pinball dreams, fantasies, illusions and slam tilt. These are all amoung my favorite pinball games. I think the one i like least of these ones is illusions, due to the flippers being less responsive than in the others. It seems like they lag some ms before the react, which i find annoying.

And who is this dandude? someone i should know of?  :-P

I had the top score in SlAMTILT on the top pin website for ages (on the mean machines map), might be im on it still ;-) , anyway i love pinball games and i play both digital ones (AMIGA and Ps1 (additcion pinball) only) and ofcourse the ones in the pub gets tested as often as possible though i do miss the big arcade halls which used to be around here :-I

IMO the following is the best on Amiga:

1.SLAMTILT
2.Pinball Dreams
3.Pinball ILLUSION
4.Pinball Fantasies
5.Pinball Prelude

and if youre a pinball freak you must check out :

David's Midnight magic on the C64 :-).

The whole family enjoys SLAMTILT - mainly the Pirates map.  C=64 Davids Midnight Magic is fondly remembered  here too, even my non-technology father was hooked!

Well, DanDude actually has a collection of Antique pinball games as well as every single Amiga pinball game ever invented.

I believe he even has that old PacMan jR pinball/arcade hybrid game that came out in the 1980's

I'm talking about the coin slot game you would find in arcades.
