Title: Making ROM images
Post by: irishmike on May 31, 2006, 12:40:17 AM
Hello all:

We are wondering how to make ROM images (for like EUAE) from the real ROM chips we have.   Also if there is a way to burn them to new EPROM chips from an image.

Any insight is appreciated.

OK.  So legality issues aside, is there a way to make my .ROM image back into physical EEPROMs via a EEPROM programmer?  What would be the process to get the .ROM file onto the chips?

Thanks,

There's a similar discussion in this thread that may help answer some questions.
