I'm not sure if this link was posted in the past but I just found it. It's a bit dated but true Amigans will find it funny :-)

14. Your main printer is a dot matrix. And it's a 9 pin.
15. That dot matrix is a Star Micronics model.
This was so true, at least when I was growing up. Everyone I knew that owned an Amiga at their height had a Star dot-matrix printer.
58. Instead of buying a A2320 board, you use one of those tinted screen
filters.
Yep, did that before I finally bought a proper monitor and ran DblPAL. Because those filters can magically remove interlace flicker

Yep, it has been posted at least once before.
But that's not to say there aren't new/returning users who won't want to see it :-)
-
heheh bostin' !
heres a new one:
...you chuckle when someone says 'Mil spec' in irony.

>1. You'd rather say "co processor" and not "graphics chip".
I doubt that this text was composed by someone with basic Amiga knowledge.

Good stuff and some things I didn't know.
-
I am an amiga user then.

'You find the sound of a disk drive clicking strangely comforting'
'You paid $50 for a discount on OS4 and all you got was a lousy T-shirt'
'You think anything with PCI slots is 'high-end''
'Every time you see a PC game or application with the words 'open source' mentioned, you just have to post a new forum thread asking someone to port it to the Amiga'
'You can't see the motherboard any more in your A1200T because of all the expansions hanging off it'
'You think that anything that takes up more than 10Mb of hard drive space is bloatware and refuse to install it'
'Your OS partition is 6MB and you consider that excessive'
'You believe that dragons really exist (because you saw a picture of one on the Internet)'

23. Your 1084 has no front panel.
24. You tried to repair the 1084 front panel.
Incredibly guilty. I just did last week (even successfully, I might add).
-
My CM8833-II doesn't have a front panel, but it came like that. It is useful as you don't have to keep opening it up in order to access the controls.

Ditto!
...unnerving.
...though mine was a 1084(s).

I kept the RGB cable from my M1438S when I was forced to ditch it.*
I intended building my own Amiga<->VGA adaptor (even bought the Sub D15) but never got round to it - to my own shame I got a ready made one from AmigaKit** - what a lazy get !
*it was the right thing to do. it was starting to get a bit 'dodgy'. but still :-(
**to amigakits credit, its really good for the faster linerates AGA can do! I just wish I had got the dosh for a scandoubler instead...

if you periodicly show people how far aros is coming even though they have no interest whatsoever.
if you are excited to finally meet someone who uses the same type computer as you
if you know all three of the other people in your state/region/province who have amigas.

You buy a complete setup just to aquire one small piece of hardware from it.
You decide not to sell the remaining hardware from the setup you just bought, but keep it around for spares.
