Post by: Alma96 on May 27, 2006, 02:18:52 AM
Hello,

As title says, I would like to customize the menu strip on my A1200+OS3.9. Would like to display the date and time.

What program would to the trick ?

Thanks,

Do you mean the Dock at the Bottom with the icons?  or do you eman the menu on the top?

if it is the Menu on top.........you need ToolsDaemon from Aminet....its like the Mac menu ontop (get also Magic Menu, to make ToolsDaemon look pretty)

for the Dock, you should have AmiDock which comes with OS 3.9
Im not to good with configuring it as I dont use it much

But I think you can just drag Icons onto it

Hello. The clock program included with WB will do the trick. Just drag the icon into the WBStartup drawer, and it'll be there all the time when you boot up.

I think its located in Tools or Utilities.

edit: and of course, there's a bazillion different versions of that on Aminet, so take a look and see what suits your taste.  :-D

I believe the commodity MCP will do the trick. I think it was recently updated, too.

Yes, I want to customize the WB titlebar. For the menu itself, I use ToolsDaemon, but I would like to display the time and the memory status on the titlebar. I will try MCP, it seems to  allow this..

Thank for the advice,
