Title: Amiga RGB to SVGA Monitor Adapter

some people said you need something to use a PC monitor. but whats wrong with just getting this? and using a PC monitor?

You can use this adapter if you want to use a multisync monitor.
You can also use this adapter to display only the amigas VGA 31KHz modes.

so this only works for CERTAIN monitors?

Certain monitors that.....

1) support the refresh rates of Productivity modes (no scan doubler needed, Amiga games that force the native screen modes to operate, will not display.

You could use a scan doubler, to force 15khz up to around 31khz..

but you still need a monitor that supports..

31Khz Horizontal, 50Hz Vertical. (*ALOT* of monitors do not go down to 50Hz Vertical).

or i could buy an amiga monitor from eBay? what type of adapter do you need for an amiga monitor?

hi there i got one of then leads i went to a carboot and got a vga 14" for a £1 but i found you can only realy use this in workbench but it looks better on workbench than on the tv the monitors off ebay come with the leads the one i had sometime ago used the phono plugs but you could use the rgb port to
