The title says it all. I had to sell my extensive Amiga collection to pay bills almost 10 years ago, and I've missed it horribly ever since.
I have a Compaq EVO N610c laptop to trade for an Amiga 1200 setup.
I'm looking for something with a 3.1 ROM, 1d chipset and OS software. (Extras are always a plus so send me an Email to Collinmactavish@yahoo.com or a PM if you have something.)
The laptop specs are:
Pentium 4 CPU @2.0ghz (Windows XP license sticker on the laptop, and installed, but it didn't come with disks.)
256 Megs RAM (Upgradable to a gig)
ATI Radeon Mobility onboard video (I've played some nice 3D games with this, even Everquest.) with 64 Megs of Video RAM.
30 Gig HD
I'll even throw in a Wireless B network card.
Look up the Compaq EVO N610c specs here:

I'm near the Portland, Oregon area, so a local exchange would be cool, but PM me if you want to work something out.
Thanks,
Jack

A few more notes on it.
It's got a DVD drive in it, and makes for fantastic movie watching. (And S-video out for running this to your TV set)
The USB ports on it are USB2 as well. (And I can dig up a case for it as well.)

Geez. I'm almost tempted to trade my 1200 for that laptop. :-)

Well, I'd be more than happy to trade my 1200 for the laptop. Unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the planet. :boohoo: :-x

That's a nice deal for someone. It's a nice compact size and pretty powerful. I subjected one of these to about two years (and counting, although it's no longer my main machine) of abuse at work. I have knocked it off of stuff in addition to its traumatic experience of travelling anywhere with me. It went through two sales reps before it got to me, and you know they weren't taking care of it. Still works fine!
Good luck with your trade :-)

I have 2 A1200 and 1 A500 that I don't really use anymore as my UAE its much faster.
However I am in London UK :( a bit far away to make an exchange.

/Bump
Someone asked if this was a touch pad model. Yes it is, it has a touch pad and a thumbstick mouse both.
It's still up for grabs, and I have 3-4 private messages going on about it, with nothing concrete in the works so let me know if you are interested.

Better swap it for a upgraded a1200 then, as stock a1200 seems to go for fairly cheap on ebay.
Nice to see that you are coming back to Amiga :-)
I myself just bought myself an a1200 just a few months back as well :-)

I had a Toaster 2000 system at one time, but no Flyer.
In theory, couldn't you plug a Toaster system into a relatively cheap DVR system to record the output?
Well, thinking about it that would only work when using the switcher functions. The editing and modification of clips etc would require the flyer.. shucks.

You should probably make sure you get an NTSC 1200 as well (you're in the states, right?).

I'll trade you a complete A3000. :-D :-D
