Title: Disabling DF0/DF1/DFn from WB
Post by: 3246251196 on May 23, 2006, 12:01:30 AM
is there anyway to disable these FDrives from CLI or something? (i know you can go to the startup screen, but what if you wanted it from WB)?

yes you can disable df0: with the following command:

assign df0: dismount

I use it to allow me to mount a ram drive instead of df0: on my A1200 and to mount my catweasel mk4 floppy drive instead of a disk image with winUAE.

As I recall, to fully remove it you also need to execute:
assign df0: REMOVE
Could be wrong, but that's what I do when I needed to get rid of them. Thomas?
