I need some help from reliable friend with paypal.
The problem is that paypal doesn't work with my country (and it wont work in reasonably near future) :-( . OTOH moneybookers seems to work just fine :-) . Unfortunately most people don't use it. So here is the basic idea:
me->moneybookers->reliable_friend->paypal->seller
I guess that it might be against paypal policy, but how would they find out?
what do you think, is it possible?

Hi,
I guess PayPal wouldn't know - it's just the equivalent of someone buying for someone else, and that's not against their policy.
Just make sure reliable_friend != rip_off_merchant

I think thats called money laundering or something
-
money laundering is when someone takes stolen money and exchanges it for money that is clean (not marked etc.)

Ahh right. Reason I asked is coz before I was getting emails apparantly from EBAY asking me to sign up to do a similar thing. Reported it to Ebay and got a big explanation of why it was fake and what they really wanted.
-
It couldn't be against Paypal rules because it's none of their business. Ebay will tell you not to do it because you might get scammed, whether or not they also think you should only use Paypal... because they obviously do.

Hiya,
Provided there's no way that I could get burned in the process, I would be happy to help. Most people on this board know who I am, and I recently had dealings with a chap from NL - I'm sure he wouldn't mind saying that I'm trustworthy.
As long as I don't get shafted along the way somehow...

Thanks Cyberus but someone else has already kindly helped me.
