Title: BlizKick and IdeFix

What exactly do I need to do in order to incorporate IdeFix into BlizKick and use it as a module together in the BlizKick line?

I'd appreciate a "for dummies" type of an explanation, if possible. :-)

just put it with/as the other modules. i don't know if it will work though.

I'm not sure if it's that easy. I'll wait for Piru in case he catches this message, before I change anything. :-)

The reason why I'd like to put IdeFix in the BlizKick line is that it apparently causes an extra reboot, when ever I warm reboot my system.

I've set up BlizKick for a single-reboot in OS3.9BB2, so as soon as I power up my A1200 system, BlizKick reboots it once only and that's it. Every warm reset afterwards does not enforce more rebooting, that is unless IdeFix is present in the Startup-Sequence file. IdeFix in the S-S file always makes my system reboot twice, no matter whether it is a cold or a warm reboot. I figured if I could somehow combine it with the BlizKick line (I've heard that this is possible, but I don't know exactly how and what to do) the additional reset would be gone, when warm rebooting.

The same thing happens whether I use C:IdeFix or C:LoadIDE Start Quiet

 You can find detailed instructions about this in the .guide of Blizkick. You might also need to increase the EXTRESBUF value.

Thanks for the tip. I've used CopyIDEFixPrefs in order to copy the IDEFix.prefs to IDEFix and make it effectively a module for BlizKick, and I've used it in the BlizKick line, and it works...but for some reason I still get an extra reboot when ever I warm reboot the Amiga. (the same effect as if it were a cold boot) :-?

Yeah those look similar to my BlizKick line. Yes, those were from a post with my advice to you on how to use BlizKick and the single-boot option (minus the IdeFIX part and my rom was loaded locally from kickstart). :-)

But now that I've added the IdeFIX part in the BK line, it looks pretty much the same as your examples, and everything works great. It's just that the constant extra reboot when ever I warm reboot the Amiga happens is a little confusing, but I guess that could be normal.
